Annual Mixed Chapman Tournament!

June 21st, Practice Round 

 

Handicap will be calculated by adding: 40% of current HDCP of the High Handicap Player plus 60% of current HDCP of the Low Handicap Player. Maximum Handicaps: Men – 26 Women – 40

 

 

This is a 36-hole tournament with three flights, paying out gross and net.  Additional prizes will be awarded for Friday’s chipping and putting contests, tournament special games such as longest putt, closest to the pin, closest to the line and Hole-in-One competition.

 

The tournament is open to a maximum of 84 mixed 2-person teams and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis (and a waiting list kept).

 

Format of play is “Chapman”: Each partner tees off; partners then hit each other’s ball. After the second shot, the partners choose one ball and alternate shots until ball is holed out.  On par 3’s - each partner hits then choose best shot and alternate until ball is holed out. 

 

All players must have an established USGA handicap and be at least 18 years old. Each entrant must have posted at least five 18-hole rounds (includes combined 9 hole scores) within the 12 months preceding the start of the tournament.
